The rotary head 3D wire forming machine performs three-dimensional bending and forming on metal wires by rotating the rotary head. The operation must follow the following standardized process:
1. Preparation before operation
· Safety protection
Check that the protective railings and emergency stop buttons are intact, and that the emergency stop can cut off the power supply.
Operators should wear work clothes and tie their hair up, and are prohibited from wearing gloves and items that are prone to getting entangled.
· Equipment inspection
Confirm that the power supply, air source, and hydraulic source are securely connected without any leaks.
The head is turned, the mold is securely installed, and the mold size matches the wire material.
The feeding mechanism is clean and free of stagnation, and the wire is placed in place and aligned with the feeding port.
II. Power-on and Self-test
·Power on
Switch on the main power supply, turn on the power supply of the control box, and wait for the system to start.
During self-check, the power light is on while the fault light is off. The fault needs to be investigated and then the device restarted.
· Component testing
In manual mode, the feeding, head rotation, and cutting device actions are tested to be normal.
III. Parameter Settings
Set up in the control system according to the product drawings:
· Basic parameters: wire diameter, material, feeding length, speed.
· Forming parameters: coordinates of the bending point, rotation angle and speed of the head, cutting position and force.
· Program: Call a preset program or write a new program (import coordinates or manual teaching).
IV. Trial production and adjustment
Trial molding: Start in single-cycle mode and inspect the dimensions and molding quality of the test sample.
· Parameter correction: Adjust the feeding length, rotation angle, and other parameters according to the test sample, and repeat the trial production until it meets the requirements.
V. Formal production and monitoring
· Mass production: Switch to automatic mode and initiate continuous production after confirming sufficient wire material.
· Monitoring: Observe the sound of equipment operation, conduct regular spot checks on products, and immediately press the emergency stop button for troubleshooting in case of any abnormalities.
VI. Shutdown and Cleaning
· Shutdown: Press "Auto Stop", the equipment will return to the original point and then eject the remaining wire material. After that, turn off the power supply, air source, etc.
· Cleaning: Clean the debris and oil stains from the turning head and mold, inspect the mold for wear, and apply lubricating oil to the turning head shaft.
Precautions:
Different devices operate differently, so it is necessary to read the instruction manual to familiarize oneself with the functions.
Do not open the protective railings or touch the components when the equipment is operating. Power off and make a sign for maintenance.
